Finding Hope Through AI: A Caregiver’s Journey Into Digital Marketing
Life doesn’t always go as planned.
For over a decade, my life has been centered around caring for my family. Not just in small ways but in deep, life-changing ways that require strength, patience, and resilience every single day.
My father lives with dementia. My mother battled cancer, and when it returned in October 2025, everything changed again. My sister fought cancer too, and when it spread to her brain, she came to live with us. We cared for her until she passed in August 2025.
At one point, our home became a place of refuge for everyone who needed it. My nephew, who was struggling mentally, came to stay with us during the pandemic. Thankfully, he is doing much better today. After my sister passed, her eldest son moved in as well, needing stability and support.
At the same time, I’ve been navigating motherhood in its own complex way. My eldest daughter, now almost 23, was diagnosed with autism and ADHD last year. She’s learning to live independently, and I spend dedicated time each week helping her with everyday tasks shopping, cooking, organizing things many people take for granted.
This has been my reality for years.
And somewhere in the middle of all this...I knew i needed something more.
Being a mother in these circumstances is not simple it is constant care, guidance, and presence.

For a long time, I knew I needed something that could give me more stability and long-term opportunity but I also needed something that fit into my reality.
With so many responsibilities, I currently work in full-time work outside the home.
That is why I started exploring digital marketing.What attracted me was not just technology it was the idea of community, support, and learning something new at my own pace.
I wanted to be part of something that encourages growth, especially for people who are starting from scratch like me.
I had been exploring digital marketing not quite long, searching for something flexible and meaningful.

My reality is simple: I do not have much free time.
Between caregiving, family responsibilities, and emotional demands, my days are full.
But I made a decision:

Even on difficult days, I show up.
Even when I am tired, I continue learning.

Caregiving doesn’t pause. Life doesn’t slow down.
